Administration

Carlos Castillo

Founder & CEO

This was an accident.

Sharlee Shepard

Executive Assistant

A wearer of many hats, Sharlee works diligently to assist Carlos and makes sure he drinks a glass of water from time to time. Outside of the office, her weekends are often spent attending live music performances, road-tripping, or immersed in nature. She finds solace in creating art, and loves the simple things in life.

Jason Strand

General Manager

Jason likes people. A lot. His main focus at Zero is the people that work here everyday. He aims to help the people around him grow in their craft and interpersonal skills not only because it makes Zero Productions even greater, but also in the hope that we become better human beings.
His free time involves a mix of listening to music, playing guitar and getting super nerdy about coffee. He loves spending as much time as humanly possible with his wife and 2 kids (and any friends that wanna hang).

Lydia Lynn

Project Manager

Formerly our assistant to the Shop Foreman, Lydia has thrived in the immersive art and design field since graduating with an interior design degree in 2021. She is detail-oriented and ensures that all operations have what is necessary to carry out a seamless project. Outside of Zero, she owns and operates her design and drafting business, Shift Your Perspective Design.

Colt Gerard

Project Manager

Colt, a Texas Longhorn with a degree in Apparel Design, wears many hats (many of which he’s sewn himself). Whether chopping it up in the shop or with his own brand, Field Rations, he’s dedicated to building a better tomorrow.

Cadmael Castillo

CEO-in-Training

Armed with an insatiable curiosity, a knack for caution, and an undeniable cuteness factor, he's busy running the show with his irresistible charm

Fabrication

Drew Wall

Shop Foreman

Drew is a multidisciplinary artist and fabricator from Dallas, TX who has spent his career working in theater, film, television, and art conservation.   When not building impossible worlds and machines, he loves live music, camping, baseball, and spending time with his family and pets.

Josh Tomko

Technical Director

Josh Tomko, our skilled technical director, excels in CNC machine operation and drafting. A dedicated family man, he finds joy in his role as a loving husband and father of two, with another addition to the family on the horizon.

James Praeger

Technical Draftsman

James Praeger is currently a carpenter at Zero Productions. He is a proud graduate from the University of Texas at Austin and the most complex thing he does in the shop is worry about the future.

George Meek

Fabrication Supervisor

George Meek is an accomplished, Tony Award winning carpenter. He describes his job as “building fake houses for fake people.”

Paint

Alyssa Nunez

Paint Supervisor

Proudly standing at 5’1”, Alyssa studied Scenic Painting at Texas State University. She loves creating fun and exciting works of art for people to enjoy. She’s also the shop’s chocolate chip cookie specialist.

Lalo Meza

Lead Painter

When he’s not helping to find the perfect shade, he’s likely enjoying a leisurely bike-ride through the city. With a paintbrush in one hand and a coffee in the other, we can depend on Lalo’s talent to help make our projects great.

Install

Noah Heller

Install Supervisor

A lifelong Texan, Noah studied theater at Southern Methodist University. He is an avowed cinephile who loves collaborative work, and inversely enjoys relaxing at home with his partner Katie and their cats Squid and Posie.
